You have me confused. Did you or did you not peel the nectarines? If you did peel, did they peel as easily as peaches, i.e. dunked in boiling water momentarily or ???
I did peel them, but it’s not necessary. It’s optional. I dropped the washed fruit into boiling water for a minute or so after cutting a small X on the bottom of each one. Then I dumped them into a bath of ice water and easily peeled the skins off from where the X marks the spot. Easy Peachy! 🍑
