Such a beautiful cake, even before you went and gilded the lily with the glaze and adornments. But why, oh why, did you have to go and make it tres leches? Just the same, you win this month's prize, so far, for the most attractive cake for miles around.

Oh, I remember you saying that you’re mostly non-dairy. Tres Leches, the beloved Mexican dessert? We might have to have your citizenship revoked for such an attack on national pride. That’s like dissing tiramisu in Italy, which is dipped in liquid and likely the inspiration that spawned tres leches.

I’ll have to admit that many tres leches cakes are dry and over-soaked with milks; this one is not. Of course, one would actually have to try it to discover how delicious this cake truly is.
